RtI for Durand CUSD 322

Recent changes in our education laws have encouraged school districts to provide additional support for children who are having academic difficulties.  The current focus is on a research based process known as Response to Intervention or RtI. RtI is a multi step approach to providing interventions
and services to struggling students. Durand CUSD 322 utilizes a three-tiered approach with varying levels of support beyond that of the core curriculum. 

The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) has new information posted on its web site. Here is the newest information about RtI in Illinois:
